Terms of Sale and Use
Last updated: October 17, 2026
The short version. You buy a license to use Ryft on one computer (more if you add computer slots), tied to your Discord account. Don't share it or resell it. If you never activated it, you can get a refund within 7 days. Using any client can get you banned on servers that don't allow it: that's on you.
These terms are between you and Ryft Client ("Ryft", "we", "us") and cover ryftclient.com, the store and the Ryft Client mod. By buying or using Ryft you agree to them.
1. Your license
- Buying Ryft gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Ryft Client mod. You don't own the software; you own the right to use it while your license is active.
- Your license is tied to the Discord account you bought it with.
- Monthly licenses renew every month until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge; Ryft keeps working until the end of the month you paid for.
- Lifetime licenses don't expire, for as long as Ryft Client is offered.
2. Computers
- Each license runs on one computer at a time. To use Ryft on more of your own computers, buy extra computer slots ($3 each, one-time, kept for as long as your license lasts).
- You activate a computer by signing in with Discord from inside the game. You can remove a computer from your account page once every 7 days, to move Ryft to a new PC.
- To keep working, an activated computer checks in with ryftclient.com at least once a week.
3. What you may not do
- Share, lend, sell or give away your license, your account or the mod file.
- Try to get around the license or computer limits, crack, modify or redistribute Ryft, or resell it.
- Attack, overload or probe our website or servers.
If you do, we may end your license without a refund.
4. Refunds
- You can get a full refund within 7 days of buying, if the license was never activated on any computer.
- Once a license has been activated on a computer, the sale is final, except where the law where you live gives you more rights.
- Monthly payments already made aren't refunded when you cancel; your access simply runs to the end of the month.
- To ask for a refund, open a ticket in our Discord with the email on your Stripe receipt.
- If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of asking us, the license is suspended while the dispute is open.
5. Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and may include taxes where they apply. We can change prices for future purchases; a price change never affects a Lifetime license you already own, and we'll announce monthly price changes in the Discord before they apply.
6. Playing fair (and safe)
Ryft is a client mod. Many servers don't allow clients like it, and using it can get your account banned from those servers. You are responsible for following the rules of every server you play on. We aren't responsible for bans, lost items or anything else that happens to your accounts.
Ryft Client is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Mojang, Microsoft or DonutSMP.
7. Updates and availability
We update Ryft for the Minecraft version it supports (currently 1.21.11) and may add, change or remove modules over time. We work to keep the store and license servers running, but we can't promise they'll never be down.
8. No warranty
Ryft is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those you can't waive, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes are announced in the Discord.
